Timduru

We made it again this year,
for one of the 2 halloween nights at disneyland paris,
Pippin, Scritch, Yagfox, Me, Num8, Aoi, and other french furs went to Disneyland paris in fursuit.

We arrived on time on the parking, wandered around out of suit quickly, then dressed up in suit there and headed up toward the park entrance (about 1km)
It was about 6pm when we started.

Now the thing is that the halloween night is a special dedicated event, so at the time we arrive for getting in the queue for the event starting at 8:30 pm, the thousands of people who were in the park during the day are getting out ,
and of course we have to find our way through that human flow ;)


After some time, we finally hit the first security check, Yagfox and I pass ok, but Scritch and Pippin get stopped.
One security guy, need clearance for us first, so we have to wait on the side, after some time he says that we will have to go to the cashier area and see if they let us in while we are there..
And he sends us to the complete opposite part of the park compared to where we are supposed to enter for the Halloween night !
(thousands of people are still exiting the park, and we have to dig through them, posing quickly for photos and autographs ;) )
By the time we get where the guy sent us, we ask someone and we have to go to the complete opposite side of the park, doh !

Holding hands worked well this year, that way we don't get separated too much :)

Hitting there.. first grids ok, another security check , head removal (what's the point? )
ok we are clear to go.... into the queue for the real park entrance.
We take a break in a dark corner, when the chief of the security comes to us, saying that it will certainly not be possible to enter the park in fursuit ! (I had called them before again this year to make sure it was still ok this year, and 2 different person told me it was ok)
So we wait for the chief to check things, more wait, he comes back to us ,
after a long talk we are clear to go !
His main concern beeing that since we are too much looking like official disney characters, he was concerned that we couldn't act properly like them.
He tells us quickly the way we are supposed to act, and that we already know of course.., so no problems for us ;)
His other concern was security, he didn't want to have to keep an eye on us,
when we told him we had more than one escort per fursuiter he seemed more relaxed..
pfeeeww.
While I have it available, I ask him what we should do for next year to make sure we don't get rejected at the entrance. He says that if everything goes well tonight with us, that we are clear to come back next year again if he's still working there. ;)

We can get back into the queue, some more wait, and we enter the park , yesssss !
At that point we have already been about 2.5 hours in suit.

This year they let the best costumes to enter the official halloween electrical parade.
That was one our goal to try to get selected for it.
It didn't pass 5 minutes that already one person from the staff asks us if we want to be part of the parade, yeahhh ! :)
we get the invitation papers,
and keep posing for photos and signing more autograph, like we will do all the time until the end ;)




So we have to be back around 10:30pm for the meeting of the parade.
we walk a bit down main street, take more photos,
and jump onto the carousel that was there :)


It's then already time to head back for the parade.
Before that we make a quick water refill stop :)

get at the meeting point at 10:15, and the wait starts..
parade was supposed to start around 11pm I think, but it started later, bleah,
we were already quite tired at that point ;)
So we had a long wait, while waiting there were a few kids wondering how I was making squeeky noises
(I had the squeeky hidden in one of my finger)
I was getting them to think it was my nose squeeking,
they checked everywhere, the blinkies I had around my neck, my paws and nose to no avail ;)
in 45 minutes they couldn't figure out where it was hidden ;))


Finally the parade starts, we are clear to go,




it was a lot of fun, vision was not the best, because it's very dark and having like hundred of photos flashing on you is making it difficult to see, but we were all bouncy like and greeting people on the side, posing for photos, shaking hands and interacting :)


At the end of the parade, we enter the central plazza part, where we are supposed to watch the parade pass in front of us (long wait again, and we can't really enjoy anything with the fursuit vision ;) )

Finally the parade ends and we can go >:)
after regrouping, we find a secured place to take the head off, because we are really starting to overheat and hurting ;)
it's getting close to midnight at that point.
6 hours in suit so far. :P

After a good nice break and a few photos, we decide to at least make one ride, with the parade and all the stuff we didn't have time to make any so far :)




We head to Big Thunder Mountain to check if there is not too much queue,
we go through main street on the way, where the DJ party is taking place,
a few people around, dancing / bouncing a bit



and we hit the queue for Big Thunder Mountain

As usual when we hit the train stations, we are greeted through the open microphone by the staff, who are very pleased to see us.
One guy who was working at the exact same place last year even recognize us :)
We go for the ride (fun and refreshing )


A few more photos and autographs, and we hit 1am already, time for the park to close.
The security guy passed by us a few times while we were in the park,
and he could verify by himself that we were behaving and handling visitors correctly ;)
We should be clear to come back next year without problems if he's not fired until then ;P

Heading slowly back toward the exit. (more queue ! even to exit the park ! )
finding our way back to the parking lot, through the human sea again :)


Finally hitting the cars, we get all undressed.
It's around 1:30 now.
7.5+ hours of foolish 300% action in suit in extreme conditions and a few bumps *chuckles*
precedent record beaten ;)
And now I still have to drive one hour to get back home
where we can finally crash ;)

Really exhausting night, but a lot of success, many happy guests and soooo fun too :)
